Privacy policy

This policy explains what Bondly collects, why, and what you control. We wrote it to be read, not skimmed.

What we collect

Account identifiers. The public address of each wallet you sign in with, and the id, username, display name and avatar URL of your X account if you link it. We never see or store wallet private keys, recovery phrases or your X password.
Profile information you type. Display name, username, bio, interests, chains, skills, languages, time zone, optional region, prompts and answers, Bags and Hearts intros, your age range if you turn on Hearts mode, and the photos you upload (resized and stripped of metadata).
Activity on Bondly. Likes, skips, saves, matches, messages, posts, replies, reactions, poll votes, rooms and events you join, Arcade games you play and their results, achievements, and notification state.
Technical data. Session records (creation time, last activity, rough user agent and IP address for security), rate-limit counters and an audit log of security-relevant actions such as linking accounts.

What we do with it

Only run Bondly: show your profile to other members according to your settings, compute matches, deliver messages and notifications, run multiplayer games, keep the community safe and understand aggregate usage (e.g. how many people were active this week). We do not sell personal data, show third-party ads or train models on your private messages.

Who can see what

Your Bags profile is visible to signed-in members, and to signed-out visitors only where you appear in public discovery.
Your Hearts profile is visible only to other members who have turned on Hearts mode. It is never shown in Bags mode.
Likes are private until they become mutual. Saved profiles are private.
Messages are visible to the members of that conversation and, when necessary to investigate a report, to Bondly moderators. Messages are encrypted in transit and at rest by our hosting providers; they are not end-to-end encrypted.
Posts, replies, reactions and poll results in Community are visible to members (Hearts-only posts to Hearts members).

Where it lives

Bondly runs on managed infrastructure: the web app on Vercel, the database on a managed PostgreSQL provider and the realtime service on a managed Node host. Sign-in with a wallet uses Reown AppKit and WalletConnect to connect your wallet; X sign-in uses X's official OAuth. Each provider sees only what is needed to perform its function.

Your choices

Edit anything in your profile at any time.
Hide yourself from discovery, hide your online status or X handle, and restrict who can message you in Privacy settings.
Turn Hearts mode off at any time; your Hearts card disappears immediately.
Block members, mute conversations and report abuse.
Delete your account from Settings. We remove your profile, photos, likes, saved profiles and notifications, unlink your wallets and X account and revoke all sessions. Messages you sent remain visible to their recipients, attributed to a deleted member. We keep audit and moderation records as required to keep the service safe.

Children

Bondly is not for anyone under 18 in Hearts mode. Accounts found to misrepresent their age are removed.
